ANALYSING A PAINTING

-       Look at the painting by Van Gogh. What does it represent? Can you name all the things in the picture?

-       Consider the use of the colors. What are the dominant ones? What is the role of the colors?

-       What emotions and feelings does this painting convey to you?

-       Describe the lines in the paintings. What kinds of shapes do you see?

-       Is your eye drawn to any particular area of the   painting?  Why?
